Khaleda Zia's treatment was decided within a day or two

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia undergoing treatment at London clinic in UK is undergoing physical examination. A decision regarding his treatment will be taken in the next day or two. Khaleda Zia's personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member A ZM Zahid Hossain told reporters in front of the hospital last Thursday afternoon local time.

Zahid Hossain said, 'Doctors are trying their best to treat her (Khaleda Zia) considering her age and everything. The medical board of this hospital and all of us may come to a decision in a day or two, what will be his line of treatment. Later action will be taken accordingly.'

Zahid Hossain said that the London Clinic authorities have appointed an 8-member medical board for the treatment of Khaleda Zia. He said, 'We have connections with the doctors of this medical board. They are discussing with us. They praised us for the treatment of Khaleda Zia in the country.

The possibility of the BNP chairperson being taken to the US for another round of treatment after London was discussed earlier. When asked whether he has a chance or not, Zahid Hossain said, it depends on the doctors here (in London). If they feel it is necessary to transfer for better treatment, then it will be.
