The delegation of BNP has been invited to participate in the 'National Prayer Breakfast' held in the United States. The event will be held in Washington DC on February 5 and 6 under the auspices of the US Congress.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP's media cell, gave this information on Saturday (January 11). He said that the BNP Secretary General received the invitation yesterday on January 10.
BNP's acting chairman Tariq Rahman, secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member and chairperson foreign affairs advisory committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury have been invited among the BNP delegation.
Note that the National Prayer Breakfast is an annual event held in the United States. It is usually held on the first Thursday of February in Washington DC. It is a platform to bring political and religious leaders together through prayer and interfaith dialogue.
