New Delhi. Industrialist Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Steel's integrated crude steel production increased by 2.3 per cent to 70.3 lakh tonnes in the third quarter of the current financial year 2024-25. JSW Steel informed BSE that the company's steel production in the third quarter (October-December) of the financial year 2023-24 was 68.7 lakh tonnes. Capacity utilization in Indian operations, excluding trial runs, stood at 91 percent in the third quarter of the current financial year.

“Production and capacity utilization in the quarter was impacted due to temporary maintenance work at a blast furnace at Dolvi in ​​the month of October, normal operations of which resumed in the first week of November,” the company said.
