The Blue Medal is the highest recognition given by the Bangladesh Sports Education Institution (BKSP) by evaluating the performance of students over a year. Archer Sagar Islam received this honorable recognition of BKSP in 2024.
Sagar, a BKSP student, qualified directly for the Paris Olympics this year. He got this success as the third athlete of Bangladesh. By that, it was conceivable that the Blue Medal of BKSP was going to be raised around his neck. Sagar was given a special award for participating in the highest event in the world sports arena in addition to the award of blue in a ceremony organized at the BKSP campus on Tuesday.
Players from 21 sports categories were also awarded the Best Player Certificates at BKSP. This award is given separately to boys and girls. In the second phase of the program, a cultural program was performed with the participation of BKSP trainees. All levels of BKSP officers and trainees were present.
