Mamata is not on the side of the Congress on the Adani issue, and is also absent from the alliance meeting

India's opposition parties, led by the Congress, have rallied around the Adani issue. The session of India's central parliament had to be postponed due to the protests of the opposition on Monday.

However, several Indian media reported that although one of the partners of the opposition coalition, the West Bengal Trinamool Congress led by Mamata Banerjee expressed deep dissatisfaction with the actions of the Congress on the Adani issue. Not only that, the Trinamool Congress also boycotted the meeting of the 'India' alliance of opposition parties.

The leaders of the 'India' alliance sat in the meeting in Congress President Mallikarjun Kharg's room like every day before the sitting of the Indian Parliament on Monday morning. But no one from Trinamool was seen in that meeting.

The Indian media reported that Mamata's party has been keeping distance from the Congress since the beginning of the winter session.

The Trinamool Congress feels that the situation created on the latest Adani issue is not just to keep the parliament deadlocked on one issue. The parliament session should be allowed to continue to highlight people's issues. If the Parliament is kept in a standstill by making money, it will only benefit the ruling party, the BJP. If the Parliament is kept in abeyance, there is no place for people to raise their issues. Apart from that, only one issue of corruption cannot be influenced on the public. Therefore, in the Parliament session, Trinamool wants to highlight the problems of North-East including unemployment, price rise, deprivation of Bengal, withholding of money owed by Bengal in various central projects, fertilizer crisis, violence in Manipur.

Meanwhile, the Congress is making a fuss about the Adani issue in Parliament every day. As a result, the parliamentary sessions are also being postponed. Even after the session started on Monday, the opposition MPs led by the Congress started protesting. As a result, the session had to be adjourned in both chambers.

Trinamool says that they also want to discuss the Adani issue, but keep the Parliament functioning. A Trinamool source told the all-India media about not joining the 'India' coalition meeting, 'Congress only wants to paralyze Parliament on the Adani issue. We want to highlight 6 human issues. Parliament is necessary for that. Apart from that, although we are part of India Alliance, we have no electoral alliance with Congress. As a result, there is no obligation that they have to go to the meeting called.

Analysts feel that the Trinamool's frequent absences from India Alliance meetings are indirectly conveying to the Congress that the party will not accept a unilateral decision.
