The price of gold fell further


The price of gold in the country's market has been reduced yet again. The price of gold of the best quality or 22 carats (11.664 grams) has been reduced by 1 thousand 481 taka to 1 lakh 37 thousand 227 taka.

This price has been reduced in view of the fall in the price of acid gold (ripe gold) in the local market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that the new prices will be effective from Monday (December 2).

This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Sunday (December 1).

According to the new prices, the best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) is Tk 1 lakh 37 thousand 227, 21 carat gold is Tk 1 lakh 30 thousand 998, 18 carat is Tk 1 lakh 12 thousand 289 and The gold will be sold at Tk 92 thousand 133 per traditional method.

Although the price of gold has been reduced, the price of silver has remained unchanged. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 578 taka, the price of 21 carat is 2 thousand 449 taka, the price of 18 carat is 2 thousand 111 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 586 taka.
