Jamaat agrees with BNP's demand to create national unity


Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has agreed with the BNP's demand to create national unity in the larger interest of the country. Jamaat-e-Islami Amir also expressed his similar concerns after a meeting with the chief adviser today.

That concern is not in the sense that the country seems to have gone to hell. The point is that we have to identify those who are disrupting the peace and order in our country and unitedly deal with it through national unity.

Discussions were held on how the country can proceed towards elections through a peaceful and orderly process in the future. All of us in the country, regardless of caste-religion-caste, how to achieve national unity, how to speed up the administration were discussed.
