Apple's new iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models are slated to be unveiled after another 10 months. However, there are already many rumors about the devices. It is expected that the new model will see several changes in the camera, design and features from the iPhone 16 Pro model.
So far, 8 information about the iPhone 17 Pro model has been leaked in various technology reports. They are highlighted as –
Aluminum Frame: The iPhone 17 Pro models are said to have aluminum frames. While iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models had titanium frames and iPhone X to iPhone 14 Pro models used stainless steel frames. The devices are said to have a new 'part-aluminum, part-glass' design on the back.
Rectangular Camera Bump: The devices will have a 'large rectangular camera bump', which will be made of aluminium. The camera bump houses the smartphone's camera lens or camera setup.
A19 Pro Chip: iPhone 17 Pro models may use the next-generation A19 Pro chip. It will be built on TSMC's third-generation 3nm process. This time too, like the previous models, the performance of the phones will be improved.
Apple's own WiFi-7 chip: At least one iPhone 17 model may have Apple's own WiFi-7 chip.
24 Megapixel Front Camera: All four iPhone 17 models will have 24-megapixel front cameras. Whereas the iPhone 16 models have a 12-megapixel front camera.
48 Megapixel Telephoto Camera: The iPhone 17 Pro models may have an improved 48-megapixel telephoto camera, which is an improvement over the 12-megapixel telephoto camera on the iPhone 16 Pro models.
12 GB RAM: First, the iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro models can have 12 GB of RAM. This upgrade will help improve Apple Intelligence and multitasking performance. All four models of the iPhone 16 series have 8 GB of RAM.
Small Dynamic Island: The dynamic island of the iPhone 17 Pro Max model may be made smaller.
Apart from this, a new model named iPhone 17 Air can also be associated with this series. The camera design of this model may differ from other models. A single lens will be placed on a concentric bump.
However, Apple has not yet finalized the design of the iPhone 17 models. Therefore, the information in these rumors and reports may change over time.
