Four platoon members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in Shahbagh and surrounding areas of the capital to maintain law and order situation in the light of recent incidents. Apart from this, BGB has also been deployed in the port city of Chittagong.
This information was informed in a short message sent by BGB on Tuesday afternoon.
The message says, '4 platoons of BGB have been deployed in Shahbagh, Matsya Bhavan and Hotel Intercontinental areas of the capital to keep the law and order situation normal.'
A small message sent about BGB deployment in Chittagong said, '6 platoons of BGB have been deployed in Chittagong to maintain law and order situation.'
