New Delhi. 72 players were sold on the first day of IPL 2025 mega auction. Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shahrukh Khan and his children Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan were not seen on the first day of the two-day auction held for the first time in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia. Last time when the auction was organized, fans saw Shahrukh Khan or Aryan and Suhana on the KKR table in the auction. However, this did not happen after this. These three high profile celebrities were not present in the auction being held in Jeddah. About Rs 468 crore was spent on players on the first day.

According to the report, Shahrukh Khan might have been busy with his personal or professional commitments like shooting of the film, due to which he was not seen in the auction. However, KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla shared a photo after reaching Jeddah for the auction. She was seen on the auction table. Juhi's husband Jai Mehta was seen taking charge of KKR along with his daughter Janhvi. Janhvi remained continuously on the auction table in the auction.
