Bangladesh U-19 team will step into United Arab Emirates tomorrow with the aim of retaining the Asia Cup title. Before that, the official photo session of the youth took place at the Mirpur Sherbangla Stadium today. BCB President Farooq Ahmed also took part in the photo session with the cricketer-coaches to encourage them.

After the photo session, U-19 team coach Naveed Nawaz and captain Azizul Hakeem Tamim faced the media. However, Tamim said in a confident voice, 'We are the current champions. We have five cricketers who have won the previous Asia Cup in this team. We are very hopeful that we can win the title again this time.'

Stuart Law was the coach of Bangladesh Youth last time. Getting coach Naveed Nawaz, who won the Youth World Cup this time, is an added motivation for the team. Captain Tamim said, 'We have a World Cup winning coach with us. It is very inspiring. We want to win the World Cup as well as the Asia Cup. We have worked hard for the last three-four months. A series win against UAE at home boosted the team's confidence. Our team bond is amazing.'

Coach Naveed Nawaz highlighted the team's plan, 'I camped in Sylhet and Rajshahi after taking charge. Trying to create a specific strategy for the team. If you proceed with a good plan, the results will come in world cricket. But the team is still new. After the Asia Cup, we will see the full reflection of our strength in some more series. The idea of winning the World Cup is not in my mind now, rather I am more focused on strengthening the foundation of the team. From there the cricketers will consistently do well.'
