Last year, three films of Shahrukh Khan were released back to back, where Pathan and Jawan were blockbusters and Dunky was a super-duper hit. Currently, Shahrukh is one of the biggest superstars of Hindi cinema. During an interview given to fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for NDTV Good Times, Shahrukh Khan's wife Gauri told that she wanted the actor's films to flop.
During the interview, when Sandeep Khosla told Gauri that she would have stood behind Shahrukh Khan like a rock or pillar of strength, Gauri denied it and said, “Actually, this is not true.”
Gauri had further said, “It was very, very difficult. I really didn't want his films to do well. I thought that if it flops, I should return to Delhi. Because when you are so young and I got married at the age of 21. Movies, how and what happens, everything was so new. To me it was like nothing should work and everything should flop.”
Gauri had further said, “I didn't even know when he became a big star.”
Gauri further confirmed that Shahrukh was always very ambitious. Gauri had said, “Since childhood, in school, in college, he has always been on top whether it was football, hockey, whatever he touched, his theatre, anything. For me whatever he touched would be gold. I think it's my smartness that I have chosen the right guy, I'm lucky to have him.”

Let us tell you that Shahrukh Khan and Gauri, residents of Delhi, got married in the year 1991. The couple has three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and Abram Khan.
Shahrukh and Gauri's daughter Suhana has made her Bollywood debut with the film The Archies, while now she will be seen with her father in the upcoming film King. Meanwhile, superstar's son Aryan is ready to make his directorial debut with a web series.
