Prayagraj News Today: Preparations for the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in Prayagraj in the first month of the new year are continuing on a war footing. Special arrangements are being made to ensure that the devotees do not face any problems. A special plan has also been made to control fire incidents during Mahakumbh.
Under this, there has been a huge increase in the number of manpower and special fire vehicles to control incidents like arson in the Maha Kumbh Mela. There are also plans to deploy state-of-the-art devices. Fire personnel are being put on duty in every sector.
Special plan to control fire
Fire detection cameras equipped with AI have been installed to monitor fire incidents. For this, the response time has also been kept at just 2 minutes, so that any untoward incident can be controlled within minutes. The whole effort of the government is that this time Mahakumbh should be completed with 'zero fire incident' and the fire department is working in this direction.
Major preparations are being made to make Mahakumbh 'zero fire incident'. Advance rescue tenders are being deployed for this. 200 specially trained rescue groups are being deployed. 5000 'Special Fire Extinguishers' are being provided to extinguish the fire in the Akharas.
Surveillance will be done through AI cameras
Apart from this, a large number of fire detection cameras with AI license are also being installed in the fair. These cameras are also being used for the first time, which will keep an eye on fire incidents and if such an incident occurs, the fire station will be immediately informed within a few seconds through the control room.
As soon as the information is received, fire brigade vehicles will reach the spot within two minutes and try to control the fire. This time more manpower and more vehicles are being deployed as compared to 2019 Kumbh.
There will be 50 temporary fire stations in the fair
In the year 2019 Kumbh, 43 temporary fire stations were built, this time i.e. in 2025 Mahakumbh, 50 temporary fire stations are being built. Similarly, instead of 15 temporary fire posts in 2019, this time 20 temporary fire posts are being built. This time there will be 50 fire watch towers as compared to 43 fire watch towers, while more than 7000 fire hydrants are being installed instead of 4200.
This time more than 150 fire reserve water tanks will be used in Mahakumbh. Talking about manpower, 1551 personnel were deployed in 2019, whereas this time this number has increased to 2071. Similarly, in 2019 a total of 166 vehicles were deployed, this time this number has almost doubled to 351 special vehicles.
