Umm Salma's body was recovered from a four-storey house named 'Azizia Manzil' in Joypurpara area of Dupchanchiar last Sunday afternoon. Umm Salma Dupchanchia is the wife of Azizur Rahman, Vice Principal of DS Fazil Madrasa. Arrested Saad is a first year Alim student of that madrasa.
Major in the briefing. Ehteshamul Haque Khan claimed that on Sunday morning, Saad asked his mother Umm Salma for the money for the handover. At one stage of discussion about this, Saad went to madrasa without eating breakfast. At around 11 o'clock he took a short walk around the house during the class break. At one point he thought of killing his mother. At around 12:30 p.m., Saad went home and saw his mother cutting curry with a stick. According to the pre-planned, Saad grabbed the mother's nose and mouth from behind. At one stage of the scuffle, the stick in the mother's hand got a little cut under the son's index finger. Later, with all his strength, he held the mother's nose and mouth with both hands and strangled her to death.
