Maldives wants to win both matches

Apart from losing the opportunity to play in the FIFA-AFC tournament since last year, the suspension of the President of the Football Federation of Maldives Bassam Adil Jalil comes as a big blow for the country. He received a nine-month ban from FIFA last June due to money laundering and corruption. Because of this, the country's football is in crisis. Had to stay out of the game. Finally they are returning to football with two friendly matches against Bangladesh. Ali Suzein's team arrived in Dhaka today.

The team came to Dhaka to play two matches on November 13 and 16. Maldives said that they have come with the aim of getting 100% success after 15 days of training in Dhaka due to the internal crisis of the federation. Coach Suzanne said, 'We have some problems, everyone knows. That's why we took a long break. We haven't had much time to practice. Still want to win both matches. The situation that we are returning to the field after overcoming, it is more necessary to win.'

The country's club Mazia Sports, however, remained in the game. The club recently played in the AFC Challenge League. 16 footballers of that team have come to Bangladesh to play for Maldives. Suzanne has high hopes for them, 'Yes, they (Mazia's footballers) have played in the AFC tournament. Being in the game has been good for us. Hopefully, they will contribute to the team.

Meanwhile, the ticket prices for the King's Arena matches have been kept at Tk 800, Tk 500 and Tk 300. Tickets are available at SIBL and South East Bank branches in Bashundhara residential area.
