Demand to ban Awami League from 'Anti-Fascism Forum'


The Anti-Fascism Forum demanded that Awami League be banned and ousted from politics through prosecution. A rally was held at the south gate of National Mosque Baitul Mukarram under the banner of 'anti-discrimination student movement' banner. Students of various educational institutions of the capital participated in this rally against fascism. Speakers said, Awami League should be tried so that no fascism can rise up.

Umama Fatema, spokeswoman of the anti-discrimination student movement, said in the rally, “We held the July Revolution by holding Noor Hossain. But Awami League has destroyed history.'

He said, 'While we are working day and night for the formation of the state, conspiracies are being made in Delhi. We want to tell the current government that this Awami fascism must be judged. Such a judgment should be made, which becomes an example. So that no one can get up with a head.'

Central coordinator Nusrat Tabassum said, 'Delhi, the mother of dictatorship, is conspiring. A major aspect of Bangladeshi politics is Delhi centric, so we give the slogan Delhi na Dhaka. This discussion will always be there.'

Central coordinator Saiful Islam said, “On August 5, I removed the poison of dictatorship, but after three months, they reared their heads.” The people of the country will not give them space.'

Central coordinator Ashrefa Akhtar said, 'Midnight vote thief, money thief, accused of three massacres, Awami League will come to rescue democracy! There are no more shameless groups like them! Those who destroyed the country's democracy, they will restore democracy! Where does their courage come from? Those who have smuggled money for 30 bridges in the name of one Padma Bridge!'

Central coordinator Akram Hossain Raj said, “If we can maintain the crowd that we saw in the July revolution, then no one will be able to make a noise for three months, not even three hundred years.”

He said, 'Awami League used to torture by talking about the spirit of liberation war. Now let's look at Abu Said's slogan. However, the spirit of Abu Said must be kept in mind. If not, it will fall like Awami League. Selling consciousness will not last long.'

Central coordinator Arman Hossain said, 'Noor Hossain was martyred in 1987, but fascism did not die. Even in 2024, Abu Said was martyred, but fascism has not died yet. Fascism will be eradicated through the trial of Awami League criminals.

Sujan Mia, coordinator of Titumir College's anti-discrimination student movement, said, 'We have not yet been able to repay the blood debt of our brothers. I want to repay the blood debt of the martyrs through the reform of this state.'

Abu Bakkar, who was injured in the July Revolution, said, 'Our fight is not over yet. We still have to fight against Delhi aggression. The martyrs gave their lives not for the change of power, but for the reform of the state.'

In the rally, political analyst Faizul Haque said, 'As long as the students remain, all conspiracies against Bangladesh will be stopped. No conspiracy of Mujibism will be allowed.'

President of the State Reform Student Movement. Ihsan said, 'From today no one will give their lives for good governance, but we will remain on the streets until good governance is ensured and the state is reformed. We do not follow the 72-year constitution. This constitution must be abolished.'

This student leader said, 'I would like to inform those who are talking about elections, that state reform should come first. Then the election.'

Earlier, various political parties and organizations paid tribute at Noor Hossain Square at Zero Point. In the afternoon, coordinators Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah recited poems on stage.
