The government has taken this step with the aim of increasing transparency, accountability and stakeholder satisfaction. Speaking on the occasion, Joshi said that the government is “committed to their welfare”, calling rice mills an important stakeholder and an integral part of the food security system.
He said that the mobile app will help in resolving the complaints of rice mill owners. Android phone users can download this mobile app from Google Pay Store.
