A speech-impaired youth named Rohitash Kumar (25) was declared dead by doctors. But just before his 'corpse' was put on the pyre for cremation, Rohitash came alive! This incredible sensational incident happened in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, India.
According to the Indian news agency PTI, there is no one in Rohidash's family. He lived in a shelter called 'Ma Gram Sansthan'.
He was brought unconscious to Bhagwan Das Ketan (BDK) Hospital in Jhunjhunu district last Thursday. When his condition deteriorated there, he died on the way to Jaipur for better treatment, PTI reported.
Doctors declared him dead at around 2 pm that day. The body is then kept frozen for autopsy. After about two hours, the police prepared a surathal report and took the body to the crematorium for cremation.
According to the police, he was brought to the crematorium around 5 o'clock. After the cremation process started, he suddenly found himself breathing. Which shocks everyone present at the crematorium. The bystanders immediately called an ambulance and took him back to the district hospital. Now he is being treated in ICU there.
Jhunjhunu District Collector Ramabatar Meena has taken a preliminary report of negligence in the incident. Dr. Thursday night. Yogesh Zakhar, Dr. Navneet Meel and Chief Medical Officer (PMO) Dr. Sandeep Pachar suspended.
Ramabatar Meena said that an investigation committee has been formed to look into this incident. The matter has been reported to the Secretary of the Health Department.
However, questions have been raised about the post-mortem process. Because after the post-mortem, there is no question of Rohitash Kumar coming back alive. So it is assumed that there was a discrepancy in the autopsy report itself.
