Those involved in the disappearance cannot return to politics: Press Secretary

Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said that no one involved in the disappearance can return to politics. Nowhere in the world, those involved in the disappearance have not been able to pass, nor will they in Bangladesh. I will ensure everyone's justice in the land of the country. Their words will be written on the walls of the country. Those who are fighting against disappearances, don't stop fighting.

He said these things at a discussion meeting on 'Disappearance Statements and Prevention of Memories' organized in the main auditorium of the Shahbagh National Museum in the capital on Friday (November 22). Bangladesh Research Analysis and Information Network organized this discussion meeting.

Shafiqul Alam said, “Sheikh Hasina has gone missing and murdered like everyone else. His entire regime was a murderous enterprise. The first fight against it is the mother's call. They should be awarded freedom for this brave act.'

He said, 'We will judge everyone, we have formed a commission for that. The commission estimates that the number of missing persons is three and a half thousand. The main purpose of the disappearance was to prevent Sheikh Hasina from speaking out, creating a culture of fear. When his associates saw that he was going to disappear, they also disappeared for personal gain. Not only did it disappear, but also passed many people over. Both were rescued from India. Prosecution and eradication of missing persons is our top priority. Our human rights should be equal for all, not just for special people. Let us talk about the human rights of the person I hate. You will talk about everyone's human rights.'

Election Reform Commission member and political analyst Dr. Zaheed Ur Rahman said, 'The families of the missing have paid a huge price. Their events are associated with the downfall of Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Hasina earned the most hatred through disappearances.

Tahsina Rushdir, the wife of M Elias Ali, said, “After the disappearance of Elias Ali, the police did not cooperate with us. When his group and area protested, five people were shot dead there. In two upazilas of his area, he filed a case in the name of everyone and made him maleless. I met Sheikh Hasina. He promised to return my husband. Later on I realized that it was his play. If someone commits a crime, he will be brought to justice and punished. But it can never be desirable to remove someone from the front of the house and disappear like this. We have been hoping for so long, when the government will fall. After August 5, the missing commission took place. They said, they have closed the mirror, our missing relatives are not kept there. Many people say that there is no such thing as mirror. But the three who came back described the mirror.'

Demanding the formulation of a missing law for the country on the model of the International Missing Act, he said, 'Not only Ziaul Ahsan, but many others are involved in this disappearance. Everyone should be punished by a fair investigation.'

UPDF organizer Michael Chakma said, 'After Kalpana Chakma went missing in 1996, no government could provide her whereabouts. Rather, after the disappearance of Kalpana Chakma, those against whom specific allegations were made, were acquitted.'

A minute's silence was observed at the beginning of the ceremony in memory of the missing persons. At this time, Dr. Oslo University researcher. Mobashwar demanded the state recognition of Hasan Gum. Sanjida Islam Tuli, the organizer of Mother's Call, was also present in the meeting. Dr. was connected online in Canberra, Australia. Shamaruh Mirza.
