Ukraine had launched sudden attacks in the Kursk area of Russia in August. During this period, Ukraine had captured a large area of Kursk. However, now Russia has snatched back 40% of the land from Ukraine. This information was given by an officer of the General Staff of Ukraine.
According to the official, Ukraine had captured 1376 square km of land in Kursk province. However, due to Russia's retaliatory action, it has now reduced to only 800 square km. Russia has deployed 59 thousand soldiers in the Kursk area.
The officer said that the enemy is continuously attacking, but we will maintain this area under our control.
Russia tests ballistic missile on Ukraine
Last week, US President Joe Biden gave Ukraine permission to attack deep inside Russia. After this, on November 19, for the first time, Ukraine fired 6 long-range ATACMS missiles received from America in the Bryansk area of Russia. Russia claimed to have shot down 5 missiles.
The very next day, Ukraine attacked Russia's Kursk area with Britain's 'Storm Shadow cruise' missile.
In retaliation after these attacks, Russia fired a medium-range ballistic missile at the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. The name of this new intermediate range ballistic missile of Russia is Oreshnik. Russia called the retaliation a warning to NATO.
After the attack, Ukraine is now talking to America and Britain about purchasing new air defense systems.

Russia deployed North Korean troops
The Ukrainian General Staff said that Russia has deployed about 11 thousand North Korean soldiers in Kursk. However, most of them are still completing their training. Russia has not responded to this claim of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, currently 5.75 lakh Russian soldiers are deployed in Ukraine. Russia is planning to increase this number to 6.90 lakh.
On the other hand, the Russian army is continuously advancing in the Donetsk area of Ukraine. According to Reuters report, Russian troops have broken the line of defense in Donetsk. The Russian army is advancing 200 to 300 meters daily in the Kurkhovye area of Donetsk. Kurkhovye area is very important for reaching Ukraine's Pokrovsk logistics center.
