Maharashtra assembly elections result Sharad Pawar Uddhav Thackeray didn't campaign as planned says congress leader G Parmeshwar

Maharashtra Assembly Elections Results 2024: Regarding Maharashtra elections, Karnataka minister and senior Congress leader G Parameshwara blamed MVA's defeat on Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray. He said on Sunday (November 24, 2024) that in Maha Vikas Aghadi, Sharad Pawar's NCP and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena maharashtra assembly electionsDid not campaign as per plan.

Ji Parmeshwar said, “Ladli Behen Yojana was very effective for them (Mahayuti). He (Mahayuti) started giving it since last six months. It's all in their hands. We finally announced the tickets and confusion arose in the party. The coordination between Sharad Pawar's NCP and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena was not good. They did not campaign as per plan and Vidarbha did not give us many seats.”

'EVM has been hacked'

G Parameshwara is also the All India Congress Committee's observer for Maharashtra elections. He said that we were expecting at least 50 seats in Vidarbha region, but as long as there are EVMs, it will be difficult for Congress to win the elections. Congress and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) have performed very poorly in Maharashtra. Everyone knows this. We and some of our leaders in Maharashtra sat together yesterday (Saturday) and analyzed.

Congress leaders meeting

G Parameshwara said, “We held a meeting with Ashok Gehlot and Bhupesh Baghel and former Chief Ministers and we have received information that EVMs have been hacked. Not in every constituency but in a few selected places. “I believe the EVMs have been hacked.”

Congress's worst performance so far

In Maha Vikas Aghadi, Congress contested elections on 101 seats and won only 16 seats, which was a very poor performance so far. According to former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, in the 1977 Lok Sabha elections, Congress's tally of 20 out of 48 seats in Maharashtra was the lowest ever.

There will be no opposition leader in the Maharashtra Assembly.

The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance retained power in Maharashtra on Saturday, winning 230 of the 288 assembly seats. Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, “There will be no Leader of the Opposition (LOP) in Maharashtra this time. This is the result of the wrongdoings of the Congress and the opposition.” Wabankule said that Lok Sabha electionsDuring this period, Congress had spread a lot of fake news and cheated the voters. So, when people came to know about this in the assembly elections, the voters voted them out, as they did in Haryana.”
