Trump is still a security risk, says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the newly elected US President Donald Trump as an experienced and intelligent politician. However, he is worried about Trump's safety. Putin said these things while talking to journalists at a press conference in Kazakhstan on Thursday (November 28). British news agency Reuters reported this news.

He said, I am shocked by the events of the election campaign in the United States. As serious and utterly barbaric methods as assassination attempts have been used against Trump, and that too more than once.

In July, an assassination attempt was made on Trump in Pennsylvania. He was injured in that attack. Also, in September, a man with a rifle was prosecuted for his involvement in a plot to attack a golf course in Florida.

Putin also said, “I think Trump is not safe yet.” Unfortunately, U.S. history has had several unfortunate events. I think Trump will be smart and careful about these things. Putin himself is always under strict security.

Putin also termed the criticism of Trump's family members and children during the election campaign as “disgusting”. He said, even gangsters in Russia do not adopt such methods.

Criticizing the Biden administration's actions on the war in Ukraine, Putin said that allowing Ukraine to attack Russia using Western missiles paved the way for an escalation of the war. This will either create opportunities for Trump, or he will have to face much more challenges.

However, Putin believes that Trump will find the right solution. He also said that Moscow is ready for any discussion.
