DMK leader and party’s youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin has strongly attacked Congress. He accused the Congress of betraying the DMK by supporting the minority government of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK). In a party program, Udhayanidhi said that now DMK should not trust Congress again. He said that Congress leaders won the elections because of the hard work of DMK workers and the popularity of Chief Minister MK Stalin, but later left the alliance without giving any information.
Udhayanidhi Stalin said, ‘Because of the hard work of DMK workers, five Congress MLAs could win. People voted for Congress because they wanted MK Stalin to be the Chief Minister. But today Congress went ahead with some posts without informing us. One should never trust people who lack basic gratitude and decency. He further said that the people of Tamil Nadu will answer to the Congress.
Congress is the reason for BJP’s rise in the country
Udhayanidhi Stalin also held Congress responsible for the strength of BJP in the entire country. He said that earlier he thought that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi And Amit Shah He is the main reason for BJP’s victory, but now he feels that Congress’s politics has strengthened BJP. He said, ‘Our leader MK Stalin had carried the Congress on his shoulders in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, but the Congress did not respect him.’
Sharp proposals on Congress in DMK meeting
Many tough resolutions against Congress were also passed in the DMK meeting. Party leaders even called Congress a backstabber and a leech. It was alleged that Congress does politics on the hard work of its allies. Udhayanidhi also appealed to the party workers to increase political awareness among the youth and first-time voters. He especially emphasized on explaining politics to Gen Z voters.
MK Stalin targets TVK government
DMK president and former chief minister MK Stalin also attacked the Vijay-led TVK government. He claimed that this government will not be able to complete its five-year tenure. Stalin said, ‘They tried to show majority by breaking AIADMK, but they did not succeed. This government can fall any time.’ He also targeted parties like CPI, CPI(M), VCK and IUML, which were initially supporting from outside but later joined the government.

MK Stalin compared Vijay’s government to a new toy and said that people will get bored of it after some time. He said, ‘Just as children get bored with new toys within a few days, people will also get bored with the actor’s government. Ultimately they will return to us.
Tension increased in the alliance
Congress, Left parties, VCK and IUML have been part of the DMK alliance since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. But after the recent assembly elections, these parties decided to support Vijay’s TVK government, after which open tension came to the fore in the relations between DMK and Congress.
