New Delhi. Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is currently busy preparing for the second match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. This day-night test played with pink ball will start on 5th December. The Indian team has won two back-to-back test series at home in Australia. Even in the current India-Australia series, Rohit Sharma's team is in a strong position after winning the first match. Meanwhile, Bidhannagar police of neighboring district of Kolkata has now shared a six year old video of Virat Kohli. In this video, Virat is facing the bouncer from Mitchell Starc.
This is a video taken during the Gavaskar-Border Trophy of 2018. While trying to avoid Mitchell Starc's bouncer, the ball hit Virat's helmet. Kohli is seen bending down for a moment, but the next moment he gets up and takes off his helmet to see where the ball hit. Then he raises his hands to signal to his teammates and opponents that he is fine. Now the question arises that why did the police remember the India-Australia series and that too six years old video of Virat Kohli. Let us tell you about it.

What is the whole matter?
In fact, the Bidhannagar police included a video message at the end of the 12-second reel. In which it was said that “A helmet always protects you, just like a bat is necessary on the playground. “Always wear a helmet, whether on the road or on the playground.” Virat Kohli is known for his discipline. The police is trying to give this message that people should drive their vehicles with full discipline while coming on the road. Otherwise a major accident can occur. A senior officer of Bidhannagar police said, “We have always stressed on the need to wear a helmet, which can be life-saving in any road accident. We used Virat Kohli to convey the same message to the people so that it could become more acceptable among the people by seeing a living example of his ideal.”
