Chelsea has managed to overcome a three-match winning streak in the English Premier League. They beat Leicester City 2-1 at the King's Power Stadium on Saturday.
Nicholas Jackson and Enzo Fernandes scored Chelsea's great victory. They climbed to third with 22 points in 12 matches. Bluera closed the gap with Liverpool (28) and Man City (23) who are in the top two.
In the 15th minute, Jackson took advantage of Lester's mistake and scored. He beat Foxes keeper Mads Hermensen with the side of his right boot.
Chelsea could have extended the gap in the 54th minute. But Palmer's shot into an empty net deflected off teammate Noni Madueke.
However, Chelsea captain Fernandes shook the net with a header in the 75th minute.
Leicester pulled a goal back from Jordan Ayew's stoppage time penalty.
