Reliance Industries Limited on Saturday appointed Mukesh Ambani's younger son Anant Ambani as the executive director of the company. Anant will hold this position for 5 years from May 1. Since 2023, he is a non -executive director in the company. Reliance has given this information in the exchange filing.
The company said, “Reliance's Board of Directors considered the recommendation of the Human Resource, Nomination and Remuneration Committee in their meeting on 25 April and appointed Non-Agriculture Director Anant M. Ambani as Hole Time Executive Director. '
Anant is also a member of different verticals of Reliance
Anant was given the command of the company's energy vertical in August 2022. Apart from this, there are Jio Platforms Limited from Anant March 2020, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited from May 2022 and Reliance New Energy Limited from June 2021 as well as board members of Reliance New Solar Energy Limited. He is also on the board of Reliance Palentheropist Arm-Reliance Foundation since September 2022.
Mukesh Ambani is handing over the command to the next generation
With increasing age, Mukesh Ambani has been working on a plan to hand over his business employee to the next generation for the past several years. On the birthday of his father Dhirubhai on 28 December 2023, Mukesh Ambani said-

1. Akash Ambani: In 2014, he received an Economics degree from Brown University. He then joined family business. In October 2014, he joined the board of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL). He has been the chairman of RJIL since June 2022.
Akash Ambani has also been involved in the board of Digital Service Business and Reliance Retail Ventures Limited of Reliance Industries, Reliance Industries. In 2019, he married Shloka Mehta. they have two children. Elder son Prithvi and daughter Veda.
2. Isha Ambani: Studied from Yale and Stanford. Join family business in 2015. Reliance Retail Ventures, Jio Infocomm, Jio Financial Services are included in the board. Isha was married to Anand Piramal, son of businessman Ajay Piramal in December 2018.
Isha Ambani is carrying forward the expansion of Reliance Retail. He has launched new formats like e-commerce business AJIO and online beauty platform Tera for Reliance Retail. Reliance Retail has a presence in food, consumer electronics and fashion retail.
Reliance has a profit of ₹ 19,407 crore in the fourth quarter
Reliance released the results of the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25 yesterday i.e. 25 April. Company in the meantime Made a total of Rs 2,69,478 crore. This is 9.88% higher than last year. The company earned Rs 2,45,249 crore in the same quarter of last year.
Out of the total earnings, the cost of the employees of the employees, tax, tax, the owners of the company survived as net profits of Rs 19,407 crore. This is 2.40% higher than the January-March quarter of 2024. Last year, the company made a profit of Rs 18,951 crore.
