In another match of the National League, Chittagong faced Dhaka Metro at the Shahid Kamaruzzaman Stadium. After winning the toss, Chittagong were bowled out for 160 runs by metro bowlers Rakibul Hasan and Arif Ahmed. The maximum 38 runs came from the bat of Ashraful Hasan. Rakibul Arif took four wickets for Metro.
Metro ended the day with 161 runs losing 3 wickets in reply. The team will start day two on Sunday with a one-run lead. Aich Mollah (35) and Rakibul Hasan (1) are unbeaten by runs.
