Google has added a new feature named 'Differential' to Google Drive to reduce file upload time and easy access to files. As a result of this facility, the entire file will not be uploaded again after editing the information in the file, instead only the modified parts will be uploaded again. This will make the synchronization process much faster than before and save users time as well as internet data.
Recently, an announcement published on the Google Workspace Updates blog announced the launch of this facility called 'Differential' Upload. The facility will be open to everyone on Google Drive. Google said the facility is open to all Google Workspace subscribers and personal Google Account users. Users don't have to do anything separately to turn it on. This will work automatically when updating files. But the feature has now been introduced only for the desktop version. Later the facility can also be used on smartphones.
