Jamaat's candidate announcement 'Popularity Verification' strategy

Bangladesh Jamaat -e -Islami does not want the national election before the required reforms are over. Not only that, the party has also demanded local elections before the national elections. The party has already announced the 'possible' candidate in that seat, despite the position of the parliamentary elections. The leaders of the party are seeing the announcement of the potential candidate as a strategy to check the popularity to the people of the country.

According to Jamaat -e -Islami party sources, Jamaat has taken this strategy to declare a possible candidate in that seat to overcome the long -standing organizational stagnation. According to the central decision, the names of the candidates are being announced in different seats. However, the final candidate list will be published only after the announcement of the election schedule. People concerned with the candidate's election process say that the 'potential' candidates have to win 'people's minds' to get the final nomination. In the light of the party's decision, those who keep the important contribution to the formation of social, political, humanities, organizational and society will be on the final candidate list.

Asked about this, former president of the Islamic Chhatra Shibir and a member of the central election management committee of Jamaat -e -Islami. Yasin Arafat told today's newspaper, “For the last 5 years, we have not been able to carry out any program. Our leaders could not even go to the people. So we have asked the candidates to go to the people. I told you to work. The names of those who are acceptable to the people will be finalized. '

Yasin Arafat said that before the elections, the leaders of various organizations and media surveys, ethics, honest and skilled field leaders, will be declared as the final candidate of those who stand on the side of the people in various social activities and to form social, political, humanitarian, organizational and society.

It is reported that Jamaat -e -Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will be elected in the Dhaka-4 constituency comprising Mirpur and cantonment areas.
