Joe Root broke Rahul Dravid's record
Joe Root has left behind Rahul Dravid and Jack Kallis in terms of scoring the most runs in Test matches. Joe Route took ahead of Rahul Dravid (13288) as soon as he took the 30th run in the fourth Test. After Root scored one more run after this, Jack Kallis (13289) left behind him. Now only Sachin Tendulkar (13378) and Ricky Ponting (13289) are left ahead of the route.
England completed 250 runs
England have completed 250 runs in their first innings. Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj have bowled well in the first session of the third day. Both of them harassed Joe Root and Oli Pope a lot but could not take wickets. England have started playing ahead by 225 runs for 2 wickets on the third day.
