New Delhi. The second match of Under 19 Asia Cup 2024 was played between Pakistan and India (Ind vs Pak). The Indian team had to face defeat in this match. India lost the match by 44 runs. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first, which proved effective for them. Pakistan had given India a target of 282 runs to win but India was all out for 237 runs.
Pakistan captain won the toss and chose to bat first. Shahzeb Khan and Usman Khan gave a great start to the team by making an opening partnership of 160 runs. Usman was out after scoring 60 runs but Shahzeb played an amazing game and scored a century. He scored a total of 159 runs in 147 balls. In his innings he hit 10 sixes and 5 fours. Apart from this, Mohammad Riazullah scored 27 runs for Pakistan.
India needed 282 runs to win this match. But the team was all out for 236 runs only. Ayush Mahatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who came to open, scored 20 and 1 runs respectively. Andre Siddharth, who came third, scored 15 runs and captain Mohammad Aman scored 16 runs. India was in trouble here. But when Nikhil Kumar came to bat, he looked in amazing form. But he was out after scoring 77 runs in 77 balls. Mohammad Inan was batting well for the 9th wicket, he also raised hopes of victory but India could only score runs.
