Aadhaar PVC card is a type of plastic card, on which the information of Aadhaar card is printed.
Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has increased the fees for making Aadhaar PVC card. Now for this you will have to pay Rs 75 instead of Rs 50. The new rates have come into effect from January 1, 2026. According to UIDAI, this decision has been taken due to increasing cost of material, printing and secure delivery.

It is made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), making it resistant to water and normal wear and tear. It also has many security features, such as a secure QR code, hologram, ghost image and microtext.
This is the process of making PVC Aadhar Card?
- For this you will need UIDAI website But you will have to apply online.
- Go to the website, fill Aadhaar number and captcha code and click on Send OTP.
- After this, fill the OTP received on the registered mobile in the given blank space and submit.
- After this, here you will have to click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.
- After this you will see your information here. Here click on Next option.
- After this you have to click on the payment option given below.
- Where you will get the options of credit/debit card, net banking and UPI.
- After this you will be sent to the payment page. You will have to deposit a fee of Rs 50 here.
- After completing the payment, the order process of your Aadhaar PVC card will be completed.
- After the entire process is completed, UIDAI will print the Aadhaar and hand it over to India Post within 5 days.
- After this the postal department will deliver it to your home through speed post.
You can make a new card offline also If you do not want to get it done online then you can also get it done offline. For this you will have to go to the Aadhaar center. By going there you can easily get your new Aadhar card made.
Aadhaar comes in 3 formats Aadhaar card is currently available in 3 formats – Aadhaar letter, e-Aadhaar and PVC card. According to UIDAI, the PVC cards being made in the market are not valid. UIDAI has recently provided the facility to reprint Aadhaar card on Polyvinyl Chloride card (PVC) in the month of October. This card will easily fit in your wallet like your ATM or debit card.
