Arab Finance: The Giant American Energy Company will start Chevron, the surveying of the Mediterranean, next summer, in preparation for setting up a pipeline to transport natural gas from Cyprus to Egypt, according to Statement Issued by the Cypriot government.
The Ministry of Petroleum inaugurated the Misr International Energy Exhibition last February by concluding two agreements with Cyprus to liquefy and re -export Cyprus natural gas, after reports that the two countries study the establishment of an energy corridor between the eastern Mediterranean and Europe.
Egypt will start receiving 400 million cubic feet per day from the Cyprus Gas Cyprus field from mid -2027 and 500 million cubic feet from the Cypriot Aphrodite field by 2030.
