Avatars (pictures or emojis) created based on the appearance are quite popular among Internet users. Now the video conference software Zoom is introducing the opportunity to use avatars during video calls. Many people do not feel comfortable showing their face during online meetings. Using this facility, participants can now show their avatars instead of their own face during online meetings. Recently, at their annual conference 'Zoomtopia', Zoom authorities said that the opportunity to use avatars will be launched early next year.
In the conference, Zoom said that avatars must be created in advance for use during video calls. The upper part of the body i.e. head, shoulders and hands can be seen in the avatar. Using AI technology, the avatar will speak the messages written by the user through various gestures during the Zoom online meeting. As a result, the other person on the other end of the video call can see the animated avatar.
