I just focus on what I can do as a player. Keep improving as a cricketer. Washington has taken 65 wickets in 31 first-class matches in the eight years since his debut. The team already had a spin all-rounder in the form of Axar Patel but the Indian team management gambled on Sundar which worked. This is the first time in the history of the World Test Championship that a bowler has taken 7 wickets in an innings against New Zealand. Earlier, Prabhat Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka had taken 6 wickets for 42 runs against New Zealand this year.
