Chittagong: A three-day agricultural technology fair has started in Boalkhali under the Kandal Crop Development Project.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Himadri Khisa inaugurated the fair at Boalkhali Sirajul Islam Degree College Islam Ground at 3 pm on Wednesday (October 16).
At that time, UNO Himadri Khisa said, we have no alternative except to increase the use of technology in agriculture. The Department of Agricultural Extension is constantly working towards this goal, they are conducting research, training farmers in remote areas and encouraging the use of technology in agriculture.
The more technology is used in agriculture, the more production will increase.

Under the chairmanship of Atiq Ullah and Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Gautam Chowdhury spoke at the discussion meeting, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Rumon Talukder, upazila engineer. Before the inauguration, the guests visited various agricultural technology stalls of the fair. The fair will continue till October 18.
