A demand was made in the Supreme Court on Thursday for an immediate hearing on a petition requesting to set a deadline for restoring the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir. On this, the Supreme Court assured that it will list the matter for hearing within two months. On behalf of Advocate Gopal Shankaranarayan, there was a demand for immediate listing of this application.
