Arab Finance: Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, announced, in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, About the reactivation of suspended ration cards For citizens registered in the electricity practice system, as of November 1, 2024, after it was temporarily suspended during the month of October.
The Minister explained that this decision comes within the framework of the Ministry’s concern for the interests of citizens and their basic needs, noting that the Ministry always seeks to provide services of the highest quality, ensuring that citizens’ aspirations are met and their standard of living is improved.
The Minister also stressed the continued suspension of support for those who have been issued reports of theft of electricity, in implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister, in order to ensure that support is distributed fairly and to protect the state’s resources.
Dr. Sherif Farouk stressed that the Ministry pays great attention to following up on citizens’ complaints and working to resolve them immediately, to ensure that no eligible catering service is disrupted. Farouk stressed that our goal and main concern is to improve the quality of services provided to citizens. We are committed to developing catering services in a way that contributes to enhancing citizen confidence in State.
