The price of gold rose again in the country’s market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold to a maximum of Tk 2,158 per bar. As a result, the price of the best quality or 22 carat gold has increased from 2 lakh 35 thousand 963 taka to 2 lakh 38 thousand taka.
On Monday, Bajus said in a notification that the price of pure gold has increased in the local market due to the increase in the price of pure gold. This new price is effective from 10 am.
At the new price, the price of 21 carat gold is Tk 2 lakh 27 thousand 331, 18 carat is Tk 1 lakh 94 thousand 847 and traditional gold is Tk 1 lakh 58 thousand 689.
Along with the price of gold, the price of silver has also increased. The price of a 22 carat silver will now be 5 thousand 657 taka. 5 thousand 365 rupees per 21 carat, 4 thousand 607 rupees per 18 carat and 3 thousand 741 rupees per traditional method.
