Five-day program of the 11-party alliance to demand the implementation of the verdict of the referendum


The Jamaat-e-Islami-led 11-party electoral alliance has announced a nationwide five-day program to demand the implementation of the verdict of the referendum by calling a session of the Constitutional Reform Council.

This program was announced at a press conference organized at Al-Falah Auditorium in Moghbazar of the capital on Tuesday. Amir Mamunul Haque of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis announced the program.

Announcing the program, Mamunul Haque said that the leaflet distribution program and mass communication will be held from April 9. This program will be celebrated across the country till April 13. Apart from this, protest programs will be held in all major cities of the country on April 11. Demonstration program in all districts on April 12. The National Seminar will be held on April 13 at the Institute of Engineering.

Amir of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis also said that unfortunately the government is doing various tricks without implementing the verdict of the referendum. They have clearly insulted the mandate of the people.

He said, ‘Opposition cannot remain silent from a responsible place. We will prevent this return of fascism. We will implement the verdict of the referendum anyway. We will continue to hold programs for this demand.’

Earlier, a session of the Constitutional Reform Council was convened from 10 am and the top leaders of 11 parties sat down to discuss various issues including the implementation of the referendum verdict and resolution of the energy crisis.
