Opposition party Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a two-day program on the occasion of the Great Independence Day on March 26. These things were informed in a circular sent by the party’s publicity department on Monday.
In the notification, Jamaat said that a discussion meeting will be held at the National Press Club on March 25 at 3 pm. Amir of the party and leader of the opposition Shafiqur Rahman will be the chief guest in the meeting.
Apart from this, the party also said that the national flag will be hoisted at the central office of the Jamaat on March 26 and a discussion meeting and prayer program will be held at all levels of the party.
The Jamaat also informed that on the morning of March 26, Shafiqur Rahman will visit the Savar National Memorial as part of the state ceremony and offer his respects and prayers.
