Jamaat will make a public program to demand the release of Azharul

Bangladesh Jamaat -e -Islami has called for a public place in front of the chief adviser's office demanding the unconditional release of Jamaat leader ATM Azharul Islam, who was sentenced to crimes against humanity in the War of Liberation. The party will observe the mass program from 2pm to 5pm on February 24.

Jamaat -e -Islami Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar made a statement on Friday, calling for a success to the program.

In the statement, he said that ATM Azharul Islam, Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat -e -Islami, has been detained for more than five years in the false and arranged case of the then fascist government. After the fall of the fascist government, many leaders and activists of the anti-fascism political parties have liberated. The countrymen hoped that ATM Azharul Islam, the victim of extreme oppression, would also be released in Bangladesh-free Bangladesh. But he did not liberate the interim government despite almost six and a half months of taking power. The countrymen were shocked and surprised.

In the statement, Mia Ghulam Parwar said that the mass uprising program will be observed in front of the chief adviser's office from 2pm to 5pm on Tuesday, February 26 demanding the release of Azharul Islam. Jamaat Dr. will be present as the chief guest. Shafiqur Rahman.
