Arab Finance: The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended a trading session today, Thursday – the last sessions of the week – on a variation in the movement of indicators; The main index of the market EGX 30 – which includes the 30 largest companies bound at 0.40% at 30010.62 points.
While the level of the EGX Shariah index, it closed a decrease of 0.03%, achieving 3176.16 points.
As the EGI X 70 EWI for small and medium stocks decreased by 0.51%, to close at the end of the session at the level of 8551.9 points.
The EGX 100 index also closed a 0.31% decrease at 11698.14 points.
On the total value of trading, it amounted to 4.4 billion Egyptian pounds, with a total number of operations of 110,889 operations.
The market capital also recorded the Egyptian Stock Exchange at the end of trading 2.2 trillion Egyptian pounds
The shares of 68 companies witnessed a rise, while the shares of 97 companies decreased, and 42 companies have not changed.
In terms of the transactions of individuals and institutions, the data of the website of the Egyptian Stock Exchange clarified that individuals' transactions acquired 79.78% of the total trading in the market, while institutions constituted 20.21% of trading.
The data also indicated that the Arab dealers acquired 5.49% of the total transactions, while foreign transactions recorded 3.63% and the Egyptians 90.88%.
As for the total transactions of Egyptian and foreign investors towards purchase, with a total value of 134.4 million pounds and 13.68 million pounds in succession, while the net Arab transactions towards the sale went to a total value of 148.1 million pounds.
