Bangladesh national champion Manon Reza Neer is spreading light in the World Rapid Chess Championship. For the first time a chess player from Bangladesh is participating in this competition. American Grandmaster Carl Fidel Jimenez and Grandmaster Ehrenberg Sergey lost to Monon on the last day of this competition in New York. Before that, Manon lost to Austrian Grandmaster Horvath Dominic in the fifth round last Thursday. On Friday, he lost to German Grandmaster Dennis Wagner in the ninth round. She lost to women's grandmaster Krasteva Beloslava of Bulgaria and women's fide master Darfield Sophie Becher of Denmark in the fifth and sixth round matches, respectively.
