Dog's body proves Secretariat fire a conspiracy: Sargis Alam

Sarjis Alam, the coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement and the main organizer of National Citizen Committee, said, 'The fire in the secretariat was set only in the room of our two comrades Asif Mahmud and Nahid Islam. The body of the dog there proves that it is a conspiracy.'

He said these things at the 'Thakurgaon Rising' program of the National Citizen Committee in the hall of the Thakurgaon Press Club on Thursday (December 26) afternoon.

Sarzis said, 'Secretariat bureaucrats kept the murderer Hasina sitting. Before the mass uprising, some bureaucrats called Das raised slogans in favor of the murderer Hasina in different places of Dhaka. Hasina's pet bureaucrats are still working in the secretariat. How will the secretariat be safe if they work? Either white or black. It is not possible to get the responsibility properly from them if they are kept in the chair. Because of that, misdemeanors are happening now, the party agenda is being implemented.'

He said, 'People are being held hostage through lawsuits and extortion by capitalizing on the popular uprising of the students. Money is being taken while giving name to the case, and money is also being taken when name is removed from the case. Extortion is being done by calling big businessmen to their homes. So many people have not been martyred for these things.'

About the National Citizens Committee, he said, it is not a political party, but a political force. Everyone feels the need for something new. The leaderships of Bangladesh have been destroyed. In the future, the civic committee will work as a platform for creating efficient leadership as per the demand. These leaders will lead Bangladesh in the future.

Referring to the elections after the completion of the appropriate reforms, Sarjis Alam said, 'If it was said before the mass coup that two-three years should be given for reforms, then not only the political parties, but also a common man would not have been able to disagree. Again, the country cannot be taken to a delicate situation by prolonging the election period.'

Not even 5 months have passed since the mass uprising. They (the government) should be given time and space to reform standards, so that they can deliver a fair election. If not, the killer Hasina will use this opportunity to try to destabilize the environment.'
