Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi met with the CEO of Skatak Norwegian, And the CEO of the Norwegian Investment Fund In developing countries, the CEO of the Norwegian company “Yara”, on the sidelines of the official visit of the President to Norway within his European Sovereignty round.
The spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the interview witnessed a review of the ambitious economic development program implemented by Egypt, while emphasizing the great importance that Egypt attaches to empowering the private sector and attracting more foreign direct investments to Egypt, in addition to supporting foreign companies operating in Egypt.
Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawi, the official spokesman, explained that the President is the price of the existing cooperation between Egypt and the companies present in the field of green investment, stressing the endeavor of Egypt to become a green energy center in the region, and its keenness to support all relevant projects. For their part, the two heads of the two companies thanked the President for the attention and support that the Norwegian investments receive in Egypt.
The spokesperson added that the meeting also dealt with opportunities to cooperate with the Norwegian Investment Fund in developing countries, as well as expanding the projects of “Skatak” and “Yara” in Egypt, and the developments of the existing projects were also reviewed and ways to enhance them.
