PBKS Full Squad, IPL 2025: Punjab Kings (PBKS) went all in for star India batter Shreyas Iyer, buying the batter Rs 26.75 crore at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. Iyer thus became the most expensive buy ever in the history of the IPL auction. PBKS were in intense tussle with Delhi Capitals for the signature of the batter. KKR, who had released Iyer before the auction, had also entered the bidding war to buy back the player. PBKS also bought Yuzvendra Chahal for 18 crore, making him the most expensive Indian spinner to be sold in the history of IPL players auction. The franchise also exercised the Right To Match (RTM) card to buy back pacer Arshdeep Singh for Rs 18 crore. (Full Squad)
Among notable overseason acquisitions, PBKS secured the services of Australian duo, Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell. Both Stoinis and Maxwell have played for Punjab previously.
PBKS also bought five uncapped players, including former MI star Nehal Wadhera for Rs 4.2 crore.
