Nobel Prize winner Han Kang was born in the year 1970 in Gwangju, South Korea. When she was 9 years old, she moved to Seoul with her family. His father is also a renowned novelist. Along with his writing, Han Kang also devoted himself to art and music.
This year's Nobel Prize in Literature winner Han Kang began his career in 1993 with the publication of several poems in the Korean magazine Literature and Society. Her prose debut began in 1995 with the short story collection Love of Yeosu (in Korean). Both novels and short stories came soon after.
