UP Bypoll Election 2024: Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, BJP has achieved a big victory in the by-elections held on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. This time Bharatiya Janata Party made a dent in the vote bank of Samajwadi Party. Bharatiya Janata Party hoisted the flag of victory on Kundarki and Katehri seats. In the year 2022, Samajwadi Party had won both these seats. New history was written on both these seats.
CM organized 15 programs in five days
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath organized 15 election programs in five days in favor of Bharatiya Janata Party and RLD candidates. CM Yogi held two rallies each in Phulpur, Majhwan, Khair and Katehri. In Ghaziabad too, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a rally and a road show and appealed to make the lotus bloom again.

BJP got victory after 3 decades
BJP was looking for victory in Katehari for almost three decades, but this time in the by-election, Kamal did wonders in Katehari under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Dharamraj Nishad led BJP to victory here after three decades. Dharamraj Nishad not only snatched this seat from SP, but also defeated SP candidate Shobhavati Verma by a huge margin of 34 thousand 514 votes.
Lotus blooming on Muslim dominated seat
Samajwadi Party had won Kundarki in the 2022 assembly elections. By-election was held on this seat also due to the MLA being elected as MP. This seat was also held by Samajwadi Party for a long time, but in the by-election held in 2024, this seat went to BJP under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
On the call of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the public defeated the Samajwadi Party here. In Muslim dominated seat Kundarki, BJP candidate Ramveer Singh Thakur campaigned wearing a cap. His move was successful. BJP candidate Ramveer Singh Thakur defeated SP candidate Mohammad Rizwan by a huge margin.
CM Yogi showed magic
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath campaigned aggressively in Majhwan, Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Khair as well as Meerapur. Its effect was also visible on the results declared on Saturday. RLD won in Meerapur and Bharatiya Janata Party won on other seats.
By-elections were held here after Vinod Bind from Majhwan, Praveen Patel from Phulpur, Atul Garg from Ghaziabad, Anup Pradhan Valmiki from Khair and Chandan Chauhan from Mirapur were elected as MPs. While maintaining victory in these seats, BJP won other seats.
BJP gave competition in SP's stronghold
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath It is the effect of SP's rally and public meeting, due to which SP's victory margin reduced considerably in Karhal, the home of Samajwadi Party. In the 2022 general elections, SP candidate Akhilesh Yadav had won here by 67 thousand 504 votes, which reduced to just 14 thousand 725 votes in the 2024 by-election.
Tej Pratap Yadav got 1 lakh 4 thousand 304 votes from here. BJP's Anujesh Yadav secured 89 thousand 579 votes. In 2022, SP's Irfan Solanki won from Sisamau by 12 thousand 266 votes. In the by-election, SP candidate Naseem Solanki won by 8 thousand 564 votes after getting 69714 votes. From here, BJP candidate Suresh Awasthi got 61 thousand 150 votes.
BJP's victory margin
In the by-elections of Uttar Pradesh, BJP and RLD alliance performed brilliantly and won 7 seats. Dharamraj Nishad won from Katehari by 34 thousand 514 votes, Surendra Diler from Khair won by 38 thousand 393 votes and Sanjeev Sharma from Ghaziabad won by 69 thousand 351 votes.
Similarly, Deepak Patel won on BJP ticket from Phulpur by 11 thousand 305 votes and Suchismita Maurya won from Majhwan by 4 thousand 922 votes. Ramveer Singh Thakur also emerged victorious from Kundarki. In Meerapur, RLD candidate Mithilesh Pal reached the assembly by winning by 30 thousand 796 votes.
