The Rajshahi Division has set the record of the lowest score in the history of the National Cricket League. They were all out for 42 runs on Suman Khan's hat-trick. This pacer of Dhaka Division has taken 7 wickets. Earlier Barisal had the record of lowest score in NCL. They scored 46 runs.
On Saturday at the Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Suman won the toss and bowled to Dhaka on the second ball of the innings. He picked up three more wickets one by one. Then the real magic was shown in the 21st over. He sent back Sanjamul in the third ball of his 8th over. Mohr returned with a catch in the wicketkeeper's gloves off the right-arm pacer's next ball. He completed the hat-trick by trapping Asaduzzaman leg before on the fifth ball of the over. In the end, Rajshahi was bowled out for just 42 runs in 20.5 overs.
Mehrab Hossain scored 18 runs out of 42 runs of Rajshahi. Sabbir is the only other batsman to touch double figures. Suman took seven wickets for 18 runs. Enamul Haque took two more wickets.
